As a fan of Fredric Brown's crime novels, I thought I'd check out some of his sci-fi and I picked this one to start me off. My favorite science fiction author is Philip K Dick, and this book reminded me a lot of some of his stuff, although this book tended to get a little bit more "Star-Trekky" towards the end, but that's fine with me as well as I don't mind Star Trek either.
